Great tour of Liberty Island and Ellis Island. At the end you can organize your time on Ellis Island freely and drive back independently, because there is a lot to see. The personal history of the guide gave the whole thing a special touch. We thought the tour was great and would recommend it at any time, all the background information about the individual places - even before the ferry ride - was super interesting!

We really enjoyed this tour. It was much more interesting to have a guided tour and hear more about the Statue and the history of Ellis Island than I think it would have been just doing it on self guided basis. We had Nicola as our guide and he was fantastic, he really brought the stories to life and focussed on the human aspects of the immigrant experience of coming into Ellis Island to start a new life.

The visit to the statue of liberty on a beautiful day is something magnificent The history and the statue itself are incredible there is a museum where they also show a movie of the history construction transportation and inauguration of the statue It was just bad going through security in manhattan yet but I believe that we were unlucky because some scanners were broken which caused a lot of queue Ellis island is also interesting but I expected more because in fact it was enormously important and ends up not having the guide inside because they are not allowed
