Overall, the tour was very good. Travellers need to understand these companies mix and match tours so we were with one group the first day and another group the second day. Travelled to our destination (2 hours) in a nice roomy bus but returned home in a cramped mini-van that was less than comfortable. The tour operator also put us up in a distant guest house far from the center of town where we were the only guests. Food was terrible for the most part at all the stops and at our guest house.
overall a good trip. The only thing I didn't like is that sometimes during the stops the driver and guide would disappear, and leave the engine off in the bus. So people who came back earlier or didn't leave would be forced to stay in a stifling hot bus or get out and have to wait until they decided to show back up. Boat ride was too long and our lady rower ran out of gas about half way through so we all have to help row to go anywhere
It was a good experience and tour guide John Snow is very accomodating and he always make sure the safety of each and everyone. The Trang An was a very relaxing boat ride and you will be able to appreciate the beauty of nature. Please make sure to give a tip for the rower, it was a difficult job. Overall experience, it’s great at a very affordable cost plus you will meet new acquaintances. It’s highly recommended!
Amazing day trip. Really well organised and the tour guide was excellent. She was very passionate about her country and what she was saying, making sure we had the most amazing experience. The whole trip was amazing and would not leave out any part. Lots of activities in one day! Awesome!
Thoroughly recommend, especially if you can go on a day with good visibility. Our guide, Giang, was very friendly, which made the trip even better. Lunch wasn't particularly good - standard tour group buffet restaurant - but I'd already built that into my expectations...
