The overall experience was great but the fact several people didnt care about punctuality compromised to enjoy with better time each location. We felt the guide was afraid to call attention to everybody as he worried the lack of tourism due to Covid-19 in the past few months.

Well planned tour. Our tour guide ‘PeterPan’ was just ok, he mentioned that he is doing the guide job during uni vacations. PeterPan had to be reminded to be with the group, being in his 20s PeterPan was way ahead of the group, lost a lot of info that he was giving to the couple of youngsters that kept pace with him. The atmosphere of the pagoda was peaceful and calm, the sceneries from the boat ride felt like exploring a lost world, and the panoramic view on of Mua cave left us speechless. (The boat ride is about 1hr 30min. Enjoyed the cycling. The tour requires a lot of walking/steps (big/high solid foundation) in the Pagoda and climbing up the 500 (big/high but unstable footings have to be very very careful going up and down) steps in Mau Cave, so be sure to get a good rest the night before the tour.

Thoroughly recommend, especially if you can go on a day with good visibility. Our guide, Giang, was very friendly, which made the trip even better. Lunch wasn't particularly good - standard tour group buffet restaurant - but I'd already built that into my expectations...

After lunch go for a 3-hour sampan boat trip in Trang An. Then, visit Trang An temples and caves, and see the .6-mile-long cave.

This is a must if you are visiting Vietnam! It was quite a long drive from Hanoi but well worth it. The views are amazing and the boat ride through the longest cave was impressive. Although we have been a little concerned about the corona virus, our guide said we were quite lucky it was so slow. Usually there is over an hour wait for the boats. We must have seen only a dozen or so on the water. Also, February is quite cool so pack a rain coat and warm jacket (think an average day in San Francisco 50s 60s F).

What people are saying about Ninh Bình Province

the tour was excellent, the boat trip was particularly incredible. Nghia was an excellent guide, he spoke English very well and was extremely helpful, responsible and friendly. Some reviews comment on not having much time but that is the nature of a one day trip that is 100km out of a busy city. Definitely worth it if you have day to spare :)

Enjoyed the biking and the steep hike (view was worth it)! The boat ride, not so much - around 1.30hrs sitting under the sun. It was pretty hot so make sure you bring a hat and sunblock. Overall, it was good. Our tour guide Zuy (Frank) was knowledgable and fun. He adjusted the itinerary that fit to our liking :)

This is a must do activity when in Hanoi! Do not miss it! The view after climbing 500 steps is just unparalleled and beautiful!! The 1 hour boat ride though the green fields surrounding by hills is just splendid! Highly highly recommended activity!! Our guide Mr Kay (Mr K?) is just awesome!

The trip was amazing and the scenery beyond mesmerizing . The whole trip was really organized and even though the boat trip was cancelled, they provided an alternative in order for us to expereinece it to the fullest . Our guide Franky (Dyi) was great !

This was a great tour....a very full day! Our tour guide seemed to really like his job as he was enthusiastic and upbeat. Loved everything about it!!
