Pinhão: 2-Hour Rabelo Boat Tour with Audio Guide

1. Pinhão: 2-Hour Rabelo Boat Tour with Audio Guide

Navigate on a unique river, in the heart of the oldest wine demarcated region in the world and also a UNESCO world heritage site. You start from Pinhão, pass under the Eiffel iron bridge going up stream until the Tua area where you turn around and return to Pinhão. Along the way you’ll see hills of terraced vineyards until the river, with no national roads or traffic in sight. Although you do the same stretch up and down, it could very well be a different one, because seeing it in one direction and then on the other creates two completely different points of view and sights. The traditional rabelo boats have open and closed areas, so navigation can be comfortably made in all kinds of weather, all year long. Use our free app (Magnifico Douro - Passeio de Barco) to have geo-localized commentary about what you are seeing at the moment, the wine farms, the wine, the river, and much more. What people are saying about Norte Region

Totally worth it! Very easy to use and super mich to see. Just get the voucher online, get the ticket from the bus driver and drive around two days. On the first day I did the two bus tours - one for the old town and the one that goes along the coast line. Was very nice & the audio guide gave a lot of information on history and culture. Also very easy to do the boat tour. Just go to the Cais da Estiva & show your ticket. For the wine tasting just call them in the morning when you want to visit them & show the ticket there. Was super easy, very nice :)

We had a wonderful experience at Quinta da Portela de Baixo -- it was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip around Portugal. We were stuck on New Year's Day with our previously booked tour being canceled last minute, and had low hopes for finding a replacement on short notice. Knowing that we'd likely be out of luck elsewhere, they ran a tour just for us. The wine and snacks fantastic (and plentiful), and our guide was lovely. We would highly reccomend this tour for anyone visiting the Duoro.

Very enjoyable activity. The singers and musicians were brilliant and there was also a video explaining the origins and other information about fado. I strongly recommend it.

It was the best money I spent over in porto between the yellow bus and the metro its the way to get around.

Plentiful food and opportunity to met so many interesting people.
