What people are saying about Norte Region

Always wanted to do this trip and it never disappointed. The change in meeting point worked in our favour as it was closer to our hotel. Valentim our guide was really good managing a group of almost 20. After a little hiccup of a another group delaying the tour, it was all quickly forgotten as we had an amazing, exciting, Knowledgeable tour learning about the vino verde enroute and the specially shaped cakes that the women made in celebration of having children… the vineyards, wine, port and lunch with a view were excellent. Pinhao village was my favourite and the cruise on the local boat made for a relaxing experience- with lots of friendships made! Definitely worth it. Thank you Valentim.

We had a wonderful trip to the Douro River Valley with Francisco as our guide…..we had a brief stop in Amarante (long enough for a pastry) and then were off to the beautiful Douro River Valley for our first port tasting and a wonderful lunch. After lunch, we went for about a one hour boat ride and the perspective from the water was very pretty. After the boat ride, we headed to our next vineyard and tasting….lots of very interesting info was provided during both tastings. It was a long day but well worth it to see the beautiful Douro River Valley….if you’re in Porto you should take this tour!

Really informative and interesting tour. We did port tasting paired with chocolate. 3 gkasses of differnt port paired with delicious chocolates. Good way to spend a couple of hours

Valentie was a great guide, kept the group entertained and we packed a lot in one day. All the wineries and the luncheon location were top-notch. Highly recommended..

Great day out. Scenery was beautiful and lovely lunch with wine. Bus was spotless and the driving skills were amazing!
