What people are saying about Nuevo Vallarta

My wife and I took the horseback riding tour, and it was one of the best parts of our honeymoon trip. We were picked up in Sayulita, and taken to the Villa Paraíso ranch in Higuera Blanca. Our guide Micho took the tour to the next level. He told us all about the flora and fauna in the area and happily answered all of our questions. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to take pictures at the ranch but not during the ride for safety, which is understandable once you get on the horses. The photographer was great, and we were able to purchase a USB with the pictures for $800 pesos/about $40 usd. Pesos are easier, but they will take usd/cards with a fee. The food was great as well. You have to try the limonada! The ranch is truly a piece of paradise, and we really enjoyed are time there. Highly recommend Villa Paraíso!!

David and the rest of the crew were really amazing and the boat part of the trip was so much fun. Most fun we have ever had on a snorkeling trip and we have been on a few. Just be aware that the boat drops you in the water for snorkeling and then socks off the beach so you have to swim the equivalent of about 3 city blocks to get back to the boat which could be a little tough for beginner snorkelers. Also the hike to the waterfall, while not strenuous, up and back is a total of about 30 minutes so should definitely have decent shoes as the cobblestones can be slippery. All in all we would highly recommend this tour.

If you are thinking of doing this tour, STOP and just book it. We had such a fun time! I will do it again next time I am in PV! I do want to point out though, that the first beach you visit (after the snorkeling) you have to swim too from the boat. Then when you are done, you have to swim back to the boat. It was fine, but not what I expected! We did the walk to the waterfall at Yelapa, it was fun. Get the Crazy Coconut from the bar at the top! It was very cool! The staff were all great, we got some terrific pictures to bring home.

Everything was wonderful, tightly timed, but so you had enough time on every beach to enjoy everything, eat something or go swimming. I'm absolutely thrilled, it was a fantastic day tour and I can only recommend it!

It was the most amazing experience EVER!! Our guide, Micho was wonderful! Request him! Even our transportation drivers were so awesome. Do yourself a a favor and BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE! You will not regret it!!
