  • Cruise the stunning coastline near Ko Olina
  • Relax aboard a spacious catamaran with a great viewing platform
Full description
Look for whales in their natural habitat aboard a beautiful catamaran or mono-hull powerboat. Set sail from Waianae Harbor and cruise the shallow waters off the west coast of Oahu in comfort. Soak up the fantastic weather, just as the warm waters surrounding the main islands attract humpback whales in large numbers. Scientists estimate that two-thirds of the entire humpback whale population of the North Pacific travel over 3,000 miles from the Gulf of Alaska to Hawaii in order to breed, calve, and nurse their young. Get served complimentary sodas, chips, and cookies as you look for the magnificent creatures frolicking off the shores from December to May.

We had perfect weather and smooth seas. A blow was sighted soon after we left the harbor. We followed two different mothers with calves. Another bonus was a large group of spinner dolphins who played around the catamaran as we returned to the harbor. It us something I will never forget!!

An experience my kids haven’t stopped talking about

Crew was great and accommodating. Catamaran was fun to ride on. This was my family’s first time whale watching and it didn’t disappoint. We saw several whales during our 2 hours on the water, with one particular baby whale putting on a show for our boat. Within about a 30 minute time frame, this baby whale jumped out of the water, breached, about 20 plus times. I would definitely do this tour again.
