The actual bike tour was great, the electric bikes are amazing and super fun to ride. Unfortunately, the winery was hosting a wedding and we couldn't go there for the tour & the tasting. This is of no fault of the tour guide that was really nice; but we would have liked some advance warning on the day at least (as they knew this from the morning). We missed the whole winery & tasting experience which was disappointing really! We were really looking forward to that! We were taken to a local tavern instead to have a glass of wine or beer and that was it! If we had known on the day and maybe given the option of cancelling, we could have chosen a different your and went somewhere else. Again, not the bike tour company's fault, but it could have been handled a lot better.
One of the highlights of our trip, the electric bike tour was really special, and enabled us to see parts of the island that we wouldn't have known to check out. Our guide was super knowledgable and told stories along the way, offering to take photos at every stop. The bikes were in top shape, and we biked a total of 20km, but with the motors it didn't feel like much work at all.
What a delightful and fun trip! We loved seeing the small villages and taking pictures of places that were off the beaten track. The tour guides were very helpful and safety minded. The wines were yummy and the scenery was out fo this world! I'd recommend this tour to everyone!!
Fantastic morning out with these guys. Great riding for all abilities. Both really knowledgeable about the local area with a lovely surprise visit to a local winery! Picked up and dropped off at our hotel promptly. Would definitely recommend this tour! Hope to be back again.
This is not for beginners! You will be riding on very narrow paths, rocky roads and tight turns. I was very surprised. Overall it was a decent time, but the electric bikes take some getting used to. You’ll see a more authentic side of Greece instead of the touristy side.
