Get picked up in the morning from your hotel or guesthouse in Ouarzazate. Begin your journey all the way to the desert dunes of Tinfou. En route, enjoy a stop at the Tamnougalt casbahs and village, where some scenes of the film "Babel" were shot. Afterwards, continue along through the Draa Valley and its villages and enjoy the scenic road and Saharan landscapes. Arrive in Zagora, the most populated town before hitting the vast Sahara. Continue further south to Tamgroute passing through Amzrou, known for its jewish quarter. Once in Tamgroute, opt for a visit to the old library and discover all the ancient books and manuscripts. Next, head to Tinfou for an option camel ride, paid locally to the camel drivers. Return to Zagora for a lunch break before driving back to Ouarzazate on the main road.

Start your private full-day tour in the morning with pick up from your hotel or riad in Ouarzazate, or at the airport. Then, set off on a scenic drive into the desert towards the village of Agdz. The name of this settlement means 'resting place' and it is located on the ancient caravan route from Marrakech to Timbuktu. Check out the beautiful view over the date palm groves to the characteristic Jbel Kissane mountain. Then, follow the Draa River valley past many traditional Berber villages with kasbahs that were built in the 17th and 18th from mud and straw. Admire the huge green date palm groves and the fabolous view of the snowcapped Atlas Mountains. Learn about the valley's rich history which makes it one of the top sights of interest in Morocco. Enjoy a guided visit to the nearby Tamnougalt Kasbah and find out about how the Kasbahs were built and what local life looked like in those days. Next, continue the drive along the valley to the city of Zagora - the administrative center in the region. Head over to the village of Tamegroute which is famous for its green pottery, an old koran library, religious school as well as a subterranean kasbah. Have another guided visit here, before you step inside the house of a local family for a typical Berber lunch cooked on a fireplace. After lunch, take a spectacular camel ride in the nearby dunes - one of the real highlights of this tour. Walk with your friendly camel at the desert pace to the top of a sand dune to get a wonderful view of the Sahara desert. Finally, drive back to Ouarzazate where you will be dropped off at your hotel/riad, or at the airport.

Get picked up from your hotel in Ouarzazate in the morning. Set off on a day tour to the gorges on a road referred to as "1000 casbahs road", naturally, because of the huge number of casbahs one passes while driving on it.  Head towards Skoura palm grove and visit the Amerhidil Kasbah. Continue to Kelaa M’Gouna, the city of the Persian roses. The next stop is Tineghir, famous for its beautiful palm grove, called Todra, a word which originally referred to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. After 7 miles through the valley, arrive at the Todra gorges, known for rock climbing. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Take the chance to walk in the palm grove and visit the jewish quarter in Tineghir before returning to Ouarzazate.

Get picked up from your hotel in Ouarzazate in the morning. Begin your adventure into the desert with transport in a comfortable vehicle with a professional driver. Drive outside of the city over the Anti Atlas Mountain and volcanic rocks. Enjoy views of the stunning Draa Valley before reaching Agdez and the old village of Tamnougalt.  Drive through the Mezguita palm grove and Berber villages on the riverbank before heading south to Zagora. Take a short break for lunch at a local restaurant and continue south to Tamgroute, a village of pottery makers and home to an old library with ancient manuscripts. Proceed deep into the Sahara across Tagounit and Ouled Driss to finally meet your camel driver. Embark on a sunset camel ride, like in the "Lawrence of Arabia." Arrive at your destination at the Erg Lihoudi Camp, where friendly staff will be waiting to welcome you with a cup of tea. Enjoy a delightful dinner with your friends or family in the desert. Wake up early to watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast at the camp. Start on the road back to Ouarzazate, with different views than on the way there. Cruise past the Draa Valley palm groves, casbahs, and ksars, before crossing the mountains once again to reach Ouarzazate in the afternoon.
