Full description
Your tour departs from the Shinjuku Cocoon Tower at 8:30AM. From there you will get ready to set foot for the highest mountain in Japan, Mount Fuji. Registered by UNESCO as Cultural World Heritage not only in terms of natural beauty, Mount Fuji also provides beautiful culture. You can explore the whole area of the Subaru Line 5th Station, witnessing it all at your own pace. Then, continue with a buffet lunch at the Fuji Matsu View Restaurant. The restaurant offers delicious food and beverages, and will allow you to observe Mount Fuji at the same time. You will then enjoy a pirate ship ride at Lake Ashi, Hakone. The duration of the cruise is approximately 30 minutes, and while on the ship you will enjoy the panoramic views offered by the surrounding nature. Soon after you get off the ship, a rope-way will take you towards the Owakudani Crates. The ride is sure to be thrilling, and the view is definitely worth it. At Owakudani, 20-30 minutes will be given for sightseeing and exploration of the area. The rope-way ride will conclude your full-day trip, at which point you can choose how you return to Shinjuku. There are 2 options which can be selected, which are returning to Shinjuku by coach, or returning to Tokyo by Shinkansen (a bullet train from Odawara Station to Tokyo Station). You can also get off the bus at Odawara Station to continue your journey in Japan from there.

  • Please note that the road to Mount Fuji 5th Station might be closed in case of severe weather (in this case your trip will be redirected to the Fujisan World Heritage Center)
  • Please note that the itinerary is subject to change according to traffic on the day
  • Please note that in the event that the pirate ship ride is suspended due to weather, your trip will be redirected to sight-see at Hakone Machi (no refund will be issued)
  • With the Hakone Ropeway being temporarily suspended due to volcanic activity at Mount Hakone, the trip will be redirected to Komagatake Ropeway
  • Non-reserved seat tickets will be arranged for customers who selected to return by bullet train
  • The group language will be English, and you will be taking the English-speaking tour with an Italian speaking assistant
