It's hardly surprising that the Palace of Versailles attracts over 10 million visitors per year – it's one of the most majestic places on earth, no exaggeration. Every nook and cranny is worth exploring, but if time is tight, here are the highlights.

  • Hall of Mirrors

    1. Hall of Mirrors

This is the palace's most resplendent room. Each of its 17 arched windows is decorated with 21 mirrors, resulting in a stunning spectacle as light is reflected off 357 mirrors!

  • The Royal Chapel

    2. The Royal Chapel

Though it's just one of five chapels in the palace, this opulent architectural wonder is by far the most breathtaking. Marie Antoinette's wedding took place here.

  • The Grand Apartments

    3. The Grand Apartments

Lavishly decorated from top to bottom, the king's apartments are absolutely ravishing -- you'll deem them to be "fit for a king."

  • The Clock Room

    4. The Clock Room

This room's 250-year-old clock is a technical marvel. Not only does it show the time, date, and even the phases of the moon, but it also features a working model of the solar system!

  • The Gardens

    5. The Gardens

With its impeccable lawns, geometric flower beds, rows of statues, and ornamental lakes, the splendor of the palace's gardens rivals even the most ornate interiors.

Amazing tour. Skip-the-line actually means skip the line. There was a lime of over 50 people in the normal queue and we were in within a minute. The tour guide was fantastic - we had Gabriella. She was passionate, informative and so much of fun. A very lovely personality. The palace itself is magnificent. The gardens were beautiful, albeit we had a very wet and rainy day.

Paris is an appalling city, certainly beautiful and full of interesting places to visit. The Museum pass allows the visitors to arrive and enter without much problem, it is really useful! We went there for 6 days and it helped us to keep our itinerary flexible! Thank you very much

Isabel was very knowledgeable, professional and loved talking about the palace as much as everyone really wanted to see it. She was able to recount so much history and maintained enthusiasm about every single detail. Would book again!

Our guide told was so knowledgeable and had such a beautiful perspective of the art and artists at the Picasso Museum. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to all who come to Paris. It was my favorite tour so far.

Echt een aanrader, super leuk en werd veel gebruikt!
