Martin our guide was amazing. He was very friendly and not only knowledgeable but interesting and engaging to listen to. He knew a lot about the history of the area, as well as facts about current events and buildings ect. We did not feel rushed and saw even more of Paris than we had expected to. There was only the two of us on the tour which made it very personal and Martin was eager to make the trip as interesting and unique to us as possible answering all the questions we had. The bikes were also easy to use and comfortable. We came away feeling very luck, very happy and inspired to learn even more about the city.

  • Paris Right Bank 2-Hour Private Walking Tour

    5. Paris Right Bank 2-Hour Private Walking Tour

Authority emanated from the royal court and had a significant impact on the character of its surroundings. A 2-hour walk on the Right Bank is a very different experience compared to a visit to the Left Bank, which is home to the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain. As you take in the buildings of the Right Bank your guide will compare the way authority was shown in medieval times with the manner in which it was demonstrated in the neoclassical period. You won’t only dwell on the official aspects of this area, however. Our guide Marine was super friendly and told and showed us a lot about Paris. With their help, we have been able to see Paris through different eyes and empathize with the pride and love of Parisians for their city. Marine can also speak a little German, so that she could also talk to our youngest and talk about something. That was great. This tour is highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is also great. An almost 3 hour tour through the city followed by a boat tour.

It was great to go with Frederique on this biketour. We (2 adults, 3 boys 14, 16 en 17 y. old) learned a lot. Frederique speaks Dutch very well (and english, german and more!) and made connections with the Dutch history as well. The boys recognized things from history at school. In the same time, we got to see soms nice spots of Paris as well. It was very nice! Kristin and Jochem and the boys
