This 12-hour tour from Barcelona explores the Girona coast, christened as the Costa Brava 100 years ago, due to its rugged coastline of small coves. Its superb natural beauty is apparent in several territories and protected areas. Depart from Barcelona at 8:30 AM, and take the motorway to Calella de Palafrugell, a small fisherman’s village of great architectural and natural beauty, where you will visit its incomparable bays for spectacular views. Take an easy hike along the Camino de Ronda to the town of Llafranc. The Camino de Ronda borders all of the Costa Brava, and was historically used to control smuggling. Today, you will discover beautiful spots that wouldn’t otherwise be accessible. Explore the small seaside town of Llafranc, before heading to l'Estartit at around noon. l’Estartit is an important diving center due to its close proximity to the Medes Islands’ archipelago, of significant interest for the wide variety of flora and fauna that inhabit the area. You'll have free time to eat lunch and then board a boat to explore the area from the water. Cruise for 1 hour and 20 minutes to the outer islands for spectacular views, then continue to the stunning cliffs of Sierra de Montgrí, only accessible by boat. Our last stop is Pals, located inland, on the top of a hill, the village is built entirely in an integrated medieval site. At the top, there is a 12th-Century cylindrical tower, which is visible from far away. Get stunning views of the Costa Brava and surroundings from the terrace, and walk through the cobbled streets of the old town, to appreciate the round arches, façades with pointed windows arches, and perfectly restored stone balconies. Return to Barcelona at approximately 6:00 PM. You will arrive back at around 8:00 PM.

We will leave from Barcelona in our 7 seats mini-van heading towards Empordà, one of Catalonia's 12 wine-growing areas. After about 1 hour 45 minutes drive we will reach the starting point of our excursion. Waiting for us will be our e-bikes equipped with helmets and panniers so we can carry food and water. The route we will follow is mostly flat, no specific training is required also because we will be using e-bikes. This area of Catalonia is rich in water in the subsoil which makes it perfect for a variety of crops. We will cover a distance of about 25km (18miles) which will take us to discover some of the best-preserved medieval villages in all of Spain. The peace and silence we will enjoy will make you forget about the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. We will make several stops along the way so you can explore the villages. After about two and a half hours of riding, we will return to the starting point, drop off the bikes and head to the Costa Brava in our van. We will leave you some free time to have lunch and relax in one of the most magical villages in all of Spain, Calella De Palafrugell. Around 4 we will depart towards Barcelona where we expect to be around 6pm

Enjoy some time to walk around before sampling some traditional snacks to build up your energy before heading to the village of Pals for a guided tour. Next, head towards Begur, where you can wander around and discover the area's colonial past. Then, descend into Calella, a beautiful and famous fishing village. Here, you'll have lunch and enjoy some time to take a walk along the Camí de Ronda, the old path used by locals and the police to combat smuggling, towards the neighboring town of Llafranc, or towards Cala del Golfet, an oh-so-Mediterranean beach. DAY 1: BARCELONA - MEDIEVAL VILLAGES -COSTA BRAVA - CADAQUES Departure from Barcelona early in the morning to the north of Catalonia, following the famous Costa Brava, starting our tour in Tossa de Mar, known for its impressive medieval castle and beautiful beaches. We will start our tour in Tossa de Mar, known for its impressive medieval castle and beautiful beaches, we will visit the Vila Vella, the old walled old town, and stroll through its cobblestone streets. We will continue our route to the village of Pals and Peratallada, famous for its well-preserved old town, with medieval architecture, and walk through the historic center, up to the Torre de las Horas, with panoramic views. Nearby, we find the village of Begur with its famous medieval castle and its hidden coves. Time for lunch. To stretch our legs we will take a short walk along the famous Camino de Ronda, a paved path, which runs along the exceptional nearby coves such as Sa Riera or Aiguablava. In the afternoon, one of the most beautiful villages of Spain, and of course of the Costa Brava, awaits us. Embedded in a rocky bay of difficult access, we arrive in Cadaqués, with labyrinthine streets all pedestrian, with its stories of pirates. There we will have free time to stroll and enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere in all its splendor. At the end of the day, we will depart to the city of Rosas, where we will stay. DAY 2: DALI (Fiqueres) - BESALU - GIRONA Early in the morning visit to the Salvador Dalí Theater-Museum, which houses a collection of works donated by Dalí himself, famous Spanish artist, with more than 1 million visitors a year. We leave Figueres towards Besalu, where we will have a walk on the Old Bridge of Besalu, it is said that its construction was in the eleventh century on a Roman bridge, but in reality it was rebuilt in the fourteenth century. But in the destruction it suffered in the civil war it was rebuilt again. It has two angled spans and in the center area is the tower with a small arch. Visit the center of the city, with streets and facades as part of its medieval heritage. On this tour we will visit the ecclesiastical monuments of the town, such as the churches of Sant Pere, Santa Maria and Sant Vicenç, which are composed of both Romanesque and Gothic elements. In the Jewish quarter we can visit some medieval baths, dedicated to the Hebrew ritual ablutions. For lunch, we will go to the city of Girona, a romantic city, with plenty of places to visit. In Girona we will have the opportunity to see, among others, some of the scenes of Game of Thrones, right on the steps of the cathedral. Continuing with our Jewish history, we will visit the Synagogue of this city, in a very good state of preservation. We will also visit the Eiffel Bridge, built at the meeting of 4 rivers, or the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Girona, with the largest altar of all European Gothic art. Finally we return to the city of Girona.
