Pamilacan Island is beautiful! About 3,000 people live there - beaches are not full of people. Water is beautiful to look at with so many colors of blue. On this day trip we could help support locals by using local boat transportation and eating at Shirley's Cottages (they have 4 cabins for guests to stay and relax right on the beach). Shirley made a delicious local lunch: rice, Jackfish, fish soup, squash in coconut milk and caramelized bananas with local coconut water to drink. Shirley and her family made our lunch so beautiful and special. We learned about the local culture and community on a walk through part of the island. Shirley's daughter, May, answered all of our questions. During snorkeling we loved seeing the starfish, sea cucumbers and tiny luminous blue fish. What a relaxing, yet educational day.

We were picked up directly from the beach by our hotel by boat. About email directly with organizer clarified for pickup. We were lucky and alone. At first it was Delphine looking for. Also lucky and saw dolphins like 20 other boats. (Guide call each other where the dolphins are, so very busy with boats) also had luck on the reef and saw two turtles with which you could swim. Also there full of other tourists. Had our own Schnorchelzeug and therefore can not assess how the loaned is. You can also rent an actionkamara on the reef for little money to make underwater photos. (Can be that you own a memory card need) we had our own camera so do not know if that is and is worth it.

private boat tour. snorkeling around the reefs was amazing. after the booking I got a confirmation of the local tour guide with the pickup details. unfortunately the transfer from our hotel in panglao to the pier wasn't free as they wrote. we had to pay 150 peso extra one way. but the tour itself was still amazing.
