My partner and I didn't have long in the city and decided that hiring a Vespa would be a fun yet convenient way to explore, we had no idea how much we'd actually see! The guys in the shop are so friendly, great at explaining stuff and happy to answer questions. Definitely found that you aren't just shown the 'tourist' side of the city, you can see some local places, too! You'll get plenty of tips, places to visit, eat, drink and views that will take your breath away! The Vespa's themselves are clean and tidy and do as you'd expect. You really have nothing to worry about. The Sat-nav is modern and works perfectly. It was an amazing experience and one I'll do again when we return together. I can't wait to be back!
We rented one scooter for the day and wished we had rented it for two days, but our travel plans wouldn't permit it. The Vespa scooter was in great shape and had much more power than expected. It was easy to maneuver the city since Spain and the US both drive on the right side of the street, unlike the UK and some other countries. The GPS was easy to use and the recommendations given at the time we picked up the scooter were so helpful. We learned so much about the city and culture. Along with riding an open top tour bus, this is a fantastic way to see Barcelona. So much fun.
Great way to see Barcelona-planned tours and sat nav programmed with all the sights make it easy to see all of the city in just a few days-helpful staff and delivered to/collected from the hotel-would defintely use again!
What a great and thrilling way to experience the full city. Get away from the touristy spots and enjoy what the local do. Remember to get an international license and you will be good to go.
Great idea to visit the city, the owner was very helpful and he really knew about all the tips he gave us.
