We didn’t get to do the museum in the end as we couldn’t fit it on the day it was booked but we went and paid the next day ourselves. The river cruise was a great way to see Paris, vending machines on board. And it picks up drops and you right at the foot of the Effile Tower. We done it at night and it was lovely. Great value for money as it is 15 to get into the Louvre by itself.

The Louvre was incredible, we did a self guided tour which I’d recommend, though you need a good day to get through it all. I was very disappointed with how the viewing of The Mona Lisa was set up, people pushing and shoving once they got to the viewing area, all to get a selfie, which just takes so much away from her and you can’t truly appreciate her, it’s meant to be one of the most famous pieces in history, it could be done why better to preserve her prestigious reputation rather that undermining it.

The Louvre was as expected. Lots of people but not overly crowded probably more due to the time of year. We had a time slot to enter and the queue moved pretty quickly. We paid for the audio guide but found it confusing to use so gave up with it. The Seine trip was fine. We did have to wait sometime to board as it wasn’t clear what time it was departing when we joined the queue.
