Excellent visit to Père Lachaise Cemetery! Very interesting history of the cemetery, anecdotes in shambles, hilarious guide "to die for laughter"! Very beautiful journey through time among the tombs, from the simplest to the most monumental, in an atmosphere of tranquility. Even my 17 year old teenager liked it very much. I would do this visit again very gladly!

Great visit with a passionate guide!

About the guide: Extensive knowledge, Lively and Funny About the Père Lachaise Cemetery: Must be done if already visited the Tier 1 landmarks (Louvre, Versailles, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre). Like visiting a museum without being trapped inside a building. The only issue for non-French is that most of celebrities resting in this cemetery and associated historical context are French, and therefore are harder to relate to. Note: As no English-speaking slot was available when we booked, our tour was in French.
