The Versailles palace was superb, so much to see but i wish i had known about the buggy hire before going cos i didnt take my driving license! That would be the way to see the enormous grounds..... The lunch at Ore was ok.....being a set menu with no choice is not great if one of the options is not liked or suitable

The lunch was amazing. My only regret is we didn’t plan ahead and book for dinner as well! It’s a bit tricky with the instructions as to where to meet. You are not meeting up with a person from get your guide. You are essentially meeting in the lobby of the restaurant where a member of the restaurant team will check your ticket and then send you up the elevator to the restaurant. Once past this minor stress we had a very enjoyable poached salmon lunch including a lovely glass of wine. Coming from Vancouver BC, it’s hard to be impressed by Salmon as we get it all the time. But this was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We would love to go back!

A great lunch and great activity but incredibly stressful beforehand. At arrival by the castle we discovered that the ticket needed to be printed! Thankfully we got som help doing this at the tourist office which caused us to be late for the lunch. In the end we just needed to say our name at the restaurant and didn't show our printed e-ticket to a single person so the whole ordeal was unnecessary.
