Pick up a ticket to the Phoenix Zoo, one of the largest non-profit zoos in the U.S. nestled on 125 acres within the beautiful Papago Park. Explore the home of over 3,000 animals with nearly 400 species represented, including many threatened and endangered species. Discover over 2.5 miles of walking paths, divided into Arizona, Africa, Tropics, and Children’s trails, each taking about 1 hour to complete. Admire a variety of inhabitants, including Bornean Orangutans, Asian Elephants, Sumatran Tigers, Komodo Dragons, Masai Giraffes, African Lions, and more. Learn about the threats that endanger many of the species and wildlife you encounter and discover interesting facts about Jurassic ecosystems with animatronic dinosaurs and installations. Embark on a guided day tour of the famous Sonoran desert, off-roading in your single-passenger or 4-person ATV on some of the best trails in the stunning Bradshaw Mountains, located just north of Phoenix. You will be collected from selected hotels or apartments in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, or Mesa Arizona. The journey north takes you through amazing views of the Saguaro Cactus in the Sonoran Desert. You will travel through the Ponderosa Pine Forests of Flagstaff where the Lowell Observatory is located. If you are staying in Sedona, your day begins with a scenic and narrated ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona to Flagstaff. You will travel through Oak Creek Canyon, named one of the top 10 scenic drives in the US, then through the towering Ponderosa Pines.  After picking up customers staying in Flagstaff, the vehicle will travel past the dormant volcanoes that make up the San Francisco Peaks and through Navajo Nation.  While on your journey, receive informative and entertaining narration about the areas you pass through from your experienced and knowledgeable local tour guide.  Travel through the Navajo Reservation as your guide shares stories of this ancient culture, and information about the unique geology and vistas along the way. Once you make it across the Navajo Reservation, you will have time to walk out on the unpaved path to see Horseshoe Bend, an iconic viewing vista.  Then, continue to be dazzled by the views at Glen Canyon Dam and the southernmost point of Lake Powell. Upon arrival in Page, Arizona, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, meet your Navajo guide for a spectacular tour of Antelope Canyon at the Canyon X site.
