The whole experience was very calm and relaxed. We enjoyed hearing about the elephants but also that tourism is picking up and things are looking better from a financial standpoint. There were 3 elephants, one was 40 years old, you can tell how strong they are by how they move, but when taking sugarcanes or bananas from you, you can tell that they are also gentle when they want to be. We fed them some snacks, took pictures then brushed them in the lake and took some more pictures. Overall it was a nice experience, especially because it was a small group, 4 people in total and we all had time to interact with the elephants. The lunch was also really tasty. I would recommend this to anyone who wants more than just taking a picture with the elephants.

What a unique experience!! The guide Deang was very nice, knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Every step of the tour we were entertained by his knowledge, he definitely cares about elephants and makes sure they are well treated. But what makes this tour special is seeing elephants in the nature, being closed to them, feed them and bathe with them is definitely a special moment. We were in a small group (4 people), in my opinion, bigger group is not comfortable for both people and for animals. I highly recommend to take part of this tour!

We had an amazing time on this excursion. There was two of us with another couple and their 18 month old. The sanctuary has 3 elephants that are well taken care of. We found that we got so much time with each elephant due to it being such a small group, from feeding and walking with them to washing and playing with them. All of the guides and staff were so friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived we felt comfortable enough to leave our things at the table knowing they would be safe (though lockers are available if you wish). If you choose to you can take your phone and camera with you for pictures, but if you choose not to the guides are on hand to take pictures of their own, which are then sent to you at the end of the day. We would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting the island that wishes to have a 10/10 experience with elephants in a happy and lighthearted manner. Thank you very much!
