What people are saying about Piano di Sorrento

We headed out from vico equense port with Salvatore who was friendly and good natured. As we were staying close by it was easy to get to and easy to find we went to the office first to present ourselves and get our boat boarding tickets which is not far from the square. Weather was fabulous… we arrived took a tour of the island visiting the grottos. Lots of food to try out in Capri being vegetarian there was lots of different options. Salvatore was kind enough to give us recommendations of food places and places to visit. Round trip bus from Capri Port was available to purchase at the office in Capri which took us to Anacapri. We went in a chair lift up to AnaCapri beautiful views! Even overcame my personal fear of heights! There’s nice restaurants in Capri town blue bus brings you down from AnaCapri to Capri town if you don’t fancy the heights. Bus frequency 15mins travels back to the harbour where there is beautiful views of the harbour more restaurants & the only beach in Capri.

This was well worth breaking the bank abit! We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy, comfort and having to avoid the immense crowds going to and fro Capri! We also appreciated how the tour picked us and dropped us off at our accomm despite it being outside of Sorrento! The itinerary itself was so well planned from start to finish. The sea part was our favourite part of the tour - we enjoyed all the sights (lighthouse / mini caves) and the swim spots. We were lucky enough to experience the Blue Grotto! It cost an additional €14 but It was so magical! The actual time at Capri island was already so generous (compared to other tours) but we would still be abit tight if you want to do both Capri and Anacapri! As per the reco of our guide, we opted for the semi private bus (which was €5/pax more than the public bus). I still suggest not to skip Anacapri because the chairlift and MonteSolaro was the best part of Capri island! Our guide and captain were so friendly! Special thanks

Highlights of our trip! We headed to Capri with a group of 6 others and went straight to the blue grotto just minutes before it opened which meant we only queued for 20 mins. Then headed to Capri where we rented a scooter and explored the island which I highly recommend! Then borders the boat and stopped for swim in the ocean. Unfortunately there were no snorkel equipment on board to purchase which we were ok with but bring your own equipment if this is something you’d want to do.

This tour was absolutely amazing. We went from Sorrento to Capri and it was honestly perfect. Our tour guides, Luca and Giuseppe were fantastic and really made the experience memorable. I can’t recommend this enough, worth every penny!

It was very well organized! Pick up time was punctual. The ferry to Capri was lovely. Staff communicated about history of Capri & Sorrento. We loved ❤ our experience & would recommend this excursion highly. Nancy & Gerry
