    We started in the morning with some history from Lugano, courtesy of our guide, then the group walked towards the funicular area, we took the funicular to the top of San Salvatore. Awesome views!!. There is a monastery, now a museum and 2 restaurants where you can have lunch al fresco.

    It was a nice day with clear skies to do some hiking. The guide was professional and explained the history of Gandria and the culture in different languages to cater to everyone in the group. Tip: make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and for this time of the year take a light jacket with you. We started at late morning ( 10am) and it was still a little bit chilly.

It was a great experience but I think a little more details will be better appreciated for people who wish to book this tour. As for example specifying that the meeting place is in front of the tourist office and that the departure is for 10 am sharp

Very interesting and friendly activity, especially if Marco is the guide. We had a great time relaxing and discovered beautiful places in Ticino
