Paris is the city of lovers, and Le Marais is a magnificent mix of historical mansions, cutting edge fashion boutiques, and lively restaurants. It makes an absolutely essential place to visit on your Paris adventure. Long known as the aristocratic district of Paris, it hosts a stunning array of architectural buildings. It spreads across the 3rd and 4th arrondissements on the Rive Droite (Right Bank). Our tour today will include a look at the unusual side of the neighborhood not usually experienced by tourists. We'll enter in some of the most prestigious gourmet addresses, and see the most important monuments along the way. We'll also have a chance to find a remarkable group of shops along the way! Make sure to ask your guide about restaurant recommendations in this culinary city. We'll also have an opportunity to stop for two gourmet tastings along the way, to complete your experience in the Marais.

A fun, highly informative, adult activity with a local guide who was steeped in food and history knowledge. We tasted excellent local wines, cheeses, meats, breads, delicacies, and desserts, and we were introduced to the neighborhood bistro experience. The company is easy to reach and communicative, and its instructions are accurate and easy to follow. Not recommended for vegetarians or vegans.

Emily was a terrific tour leader- she told us about the history and the food and wine. The group was only 10 people. Stops were a mix of cheese, wine, charcuterie, other local specialties, bread and sweets. Learned a lot about France’s regard for cuisine!

Guide (Louis) was great. It’s not too much food, just about right. There was a couple with an j can’t and stroller, and they managed just fine in case anyone has a baby and is considering the trip.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. The different delicacies were all real treats and the walking tour was a fun environment.

Great mix of food, wine and architectural highlights. Highly recommended.
