We will travel an historic highway and you'll learn why it's an artisan crafted, engineering marvel! View spectacular sights along astounding Columbia River Gorge. Visit the famous Vista House on Crown Point, with its unique architecture and gift shop of local goods. Take in the epic view from Women's Forum Park and hear the charming history of this location. Feel the spray of majestic Multnomah Falls, with its triple cascade (two are visible from the ground), where you can cross a stone bridge halfway up the waterfall and take in the view of Oregon's "Rhine Valley." This is also the site of a rustic, historic inn. Then a short walk on a trail through forested area takes you up close to Latourell falls, which spills past the dramatic collision of cloud basalt and columnar basalt. We will visit at least one to two additional waterfalls, depending on timing, each with its own unique character, whether whipping the air like a horse tail or fanning out like a bridal veil. Stop at the International Rose Test Garden, where you'll have 20 minutes to walk among the 550 rose varieties. Then, you'll ascend even higher into the hills to Pittock Mansion, which provides the best view of Portland and 5 stratovolcanoes, in clear weather. As you navigate the city, take in views of the parks, gardens, bridges, and trees of this lush city.

This van sightseeing tour combines our two most popular half-day tours (at a discount), for a full day of adventure! There are points of interest stops along the way. FIRST: View some of Portland's significant sites as you roll through Old Town, the Pearl District, the cultural district, and the government district. Roam the beautiful grounds of historic Pittock Mansion, and be stunned by the view of Mt. Hood. Stop and smell the roses (over 300 varieties!) at picturesque International Rose Test Garden. Cross an iconic truss bridge to take in the view of the city from a lush east side park. NEXT: You will have a 30-minute break for lunch (paid separately), at a popular downtown Portland deli.
