Full description
Punta Allen is a picturesque and perfect place to park yourself on a 3-hour boat tour! Here explore the local lagoons and come face to face with the incredible wildlife of this region. You'll have the chance to see beautiful birds and maybe even the chance to see wild dolphins and sea turtles that live in these waters! On our 3-hour tour, also stop at the 2nd largest coral reef in the world, where you can jump out of the boat and enjoy a pleasant snorkel adventure (subject to sea conditions). You'll be amazed at the colors of this still very healthy coral reef and the varieties of fish are absolutely stunning. The reef system is home to more than 65 species of stony coral, 350 species of mollusk and more than 500 species of fish. After your snorkel, head to the beach, where the picture perfect sandbar awaits. Here enjoy a delicious Caribbean lunch of fresh fish and fruit before heading back out to explore a bit more. The biodiversity of the Yucatan Peninsula is important and the aim is to share this passion with you and teach you how you can all work to keep this great natural land safe for future generations. It became a World Heritage Site in 1987 and you'll understand why!

This was a wonderful experience with my 7 year old daughter. One of the highlights was the guide, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area, history and the fantastic nature found in the reserve. We saw dolphins (stayed and played), giant sea turtle, beautiful birds on the island, crocodiles and a manatee. It poured with rain in the beginning, they whipped out raincoats and then it cleared after an hour. Come prepared for rain and sun!!

Amazing adventure! I’ve been traveling to Q Roo and the Yucatán for 20 years and this was my first trip to Sian Ka’an. Mexico Ka’an was professional and always put our safety first. Our guide, Ursula, was so passionate and educated on the history, flora and fauna of the area, and out boat captain, Oscar, knew the wildlife habitat like his own home. We saw crocodiles, manatees, rays, dolphins, turtles, so many bird species and even a nurse shark - all in their own habitats. If you really want to get off the grid into nature for a day, I highly recommend this tour with this tour company. So worth it!

An incredible excursion, we saw a crocodile, manatees, snorkel for a while and the best the dolphin group we were with for a little while, it was amazing !! The boat ride is super nice, I think without a doubt the best choice! The truck thing I think would be a pain in my mind considering that we have done all the excursions by car! The boat is something different from what we are not accustomed to those who do not live near the sea. The guides are a charm !!! I would recommend it without a doubt!
