Spend an hour and fifteen minutes in an air-conditioned bus, as you depart Krakow for a confronting day of reflection at the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp complex, a solemn place that leaves a lasting impression on all visitors, and an important memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. Visit the museum and memorial in the suburbs of Oświęcim, about 60 kilometers west of Krakow. Upon arrival meet a professional guide who will show you around the site and speak of its dark history. Receive a lunch box, to take a break with during the tour. Discover the tragic history of the largest concentration camp of the Holocaust, funded by the Nazi party in 1940, Auschwitz-Birkenau became both a symbol of human suffering and a witness to physical and emotional exhaustion. Learn how it became the final resting place for millions of people, mostly Jews, put to their death in the hideous gas chambers. Pass through the gate with the inscription “Arbeit Macht Frei" (work sets you free) to enter Auschwitz I, where your guide will show you around the preserved area and explain the history of this place.  Then, spend about one hour at the second camp at Birkenau, where mass killings took place as part of the Nazi “Final Solution to the Jewish Question”, before meeting your driver for the return journey to Kraków.

Enter the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum for a guided tour of the former Nazi concentration camps. You can go to Oświęcim by your own car or public transport. When you arrive, meet your host who will give you your personal ticket and take care of you. Inside the Auschwitz I museum you will start a guided walking tour with a certified educator for approximately 1.5 hours. Gdansk Shipyard was established after 1945 in place of the former German shipyards. It was here that the "Solidarity" movement began in 1980, leading to the fall of communism in Poland. Next, cruise on Motława River in the center of the Old Town. You’ll see many tourist attractions, including the ruins of the Teutonic castle, water gates leading to the city, the famous wooden crane from the 15th century, charming old tenement houses, and their new setting. Follow a route that will also show you monuments and new buildings of Ołowianka and the Granary Island. This trip is also a unique and only opportunity to see up close specialist vessels, Gdansk port cranes that are the symbol of the city, and the internal quay of the Port of Gdansk.

You are then going to pass by Sandomierska Tower and go downhill through the Bernardyńska Gate, eventually leading to the cave of the Wawel Dragon.
