Also listening through the airplug through the microphone helped a lot in still hearing the guide regardless of the noise in the crowded areas.

  • Florence: Ponte Vecchio Rafting Experience with Aperitif

    5. Florence: Ponte Vecchio Rafting Experience with Aperitif

Experience the city from a different perspective on a rafting boat adventure through the Arno River. Paddle along the central section of the Arno aboard an inflatable boat. See beyond the numerous Renaissance monuments and take in romantic landscapes. Discover the attractive fisherman's hut, S.Niccolò, and admire the old Bridge Ponte Vecchio passing under its outstanding arches. Let yourself be carried peacefully by the stream and enjoy snacks and local Tuscan wines during the aperitif time on the River. Don't forget to take unforgettable pictures of the fantastic views.

At first we were a bit disappointed because the rafting itself was not the adventure we (and especially our kids) expected. More like rowing a rafting boat. The Arno is not a rough river so looking back it should not have been a surprise but maybe the organisation could better use a different term. But Marco was so super and his kindness, enthousiasm and interesting stories made it a lovely experience after all. Had a really good time! We recommended it to our friends who visited Florence, also told them to ask for Marco ;)

With Guido we had a great guide. Who answered all our questions with a high level of expertise, initiated us into the secrets of the architectural masterpieces and brought us to all the breathtakingly beautiful places. Now we also know what Michelangelo's finger is all about and why Florence has so many towers. All thumbs up. Thank you for this great experience with the charming Guido.
