At 7 AM you'll board the catamaran in the port of Poreč, and at 07:30 you’ll be on your way to Venice. On the catamaran sails out, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a short introduction to Venice. You'll also be offered some optional services such as gondola rides, taxi boat rides, lunch, and more. As you approach Venice you’ll have views of the islands in the lagoon and a panoramic view of the city. Disembark at 10:30 AM and from that point, you can explore the city at your leisure. Take a short walk to Piazza San Marco. From there you can head into the maze of streets off the square. Enjoy a gondola ride along the canals. Try some of the city’s fine cuisine. Good organization and nice to have seen Venice. Good coffee/sandwiches on the go. Not cheap, but not ridiculously expensive either. The only thing that bothers me is that I have not read anywhere that Venice cannot be done with a pram. A bit naive on our part perhaps, but we thought that there was a slippery part at the bridges to push the car over. Unfortunately...... So think carefully before you go with small children. I would only do it again without the kids. Venice is also not as ridiculously expensive as is called. Just don't sit on the terrace in St. Mark. For the beauty you may have to book the whole tour (100 pp extra)

A very well planned day trip, with lots of nice impressions and information, if you want it. You can, as we did as a small family, book several options on the ship and be guided. Or explore Venice on your own. No matter which option is chosen. You have to experience Venice.

The onboard staff and tour guides are all friendly and helpful. The best part for us was the trip on the Grand Canal. This had to be booked again (30 euros for adults and 15 euros for children up to 14 years of age). The stay was all in all too short, arrived at the port at 11 a.m. and started the journey through the canal at 3.20 p.m. You can't do very much.
