  • See the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere
  • Enter deep sea caves, archways, waterfalls and blowholes
  • Watch wildlife including hundreds of seals, thousands of seabirds, dolphins and migrating whales
Full description
The cruise travels beneath the highest vertical sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere at Cape Pillar. Guests explore waterfalls, rock formations, archways and deep-sea caves. The coastline is part of the Tasman National Park. It is home to a variety of wildlife including hundreds of seals, migrating whales and abundant sea birds in their thousands. At any time of year you're likely to see the feeding frenzy of diving gannets, albatross and sea eagles wheeling on the wind, cliff-nesting cormorants and peregrine falcons, or a pod of playful dolphins surfing the bow wave of the boat. The custom built yellow boats are ideal for viewing the spectacular coastline and wildlife of the Tasman Peninsula. Each vessel holds a maximum of 43 guests. Covered open-air tiered seating means an excellent all-round view and connection with the environment. The boats are safe, comfortable and gentle on the environment due to their fuel efficiency and low emission operation.

Our experience on the boat was beyond belief. I have waited for three years to see Tasman Island, the landing and The Blade. The guides took me to exactly where I needed to be to witness them all up so close. I cannot believe how close I was to the surface of The Southern Ocean - close enough to see a pod of more than one hundred dolphins swim around and under the boat. Close enough to see baby seals and their mothers. Close enough to almost touch wandering albatross on the wing. Unbelievable!

I went with my 4 friends and we all had the best experience. The views are incredible you can't stop looking to everything and the animals was our favorite part (dolphins swimming next the boat was espectacular) and seeing seals for the first time. The instructor was completely awesome I can tell that he has big knowledge of what we were seeing. The only recommendation is take warm clothes is pretty windy out there
