Really cool tour! We started with the Skyrail over the rainforest which was amazing, you dont feel as high up as you actually are given the height of the trees but the views are spectacular. The Skyrail finishes in Kuranda which is a lovely small town in the middle of the rainforest, the food there is very nice and it is nice to see the town. We travelled back to Freshwater Station by the train which was very cool, the views were incredible. The only downfall was that your seats are assigned and you could get stuck next to kids who were quite rude but all in all an amazing tour. Our driver Chris was nothing short if fantastic! He was on time, we weren’t rushed, he was entertaining and his knowledge of the area and rainforest was brilliant.

We went as a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). We really enjoyed our trip to Kuranda. The sky rail was really good fun seeing the rain forest from up so high, and the train was good seeing all the sights from a different angle. Kuranda village was great, it was a shame we didn’t have longer to explore and look around but we had to get our train back down. We did manage to go into the butterfly sanctuary which is definitely a must. All in all it was a fun and very informative day out. Thanks
