Full description

Get picked up from your hotel in Port Elizabeth, Bluewater Bay, or Colchester. Spend a full day exploring the third largest National Park in South Africa with an expert local guide.

The original elephant section of the park was proclaimed in 1931, when only eleven elephants remained in the area.

Today you can see a variety of predators, antelope, zebra species, endangered black rhino as well as the unique Addo flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.

The park is also the only one in the world to conserve the “Big 7” – the Big 5 as well as the southern right whale and great white shark off the Algoa Bay coast.

An excursion to the Addo Elephant park is a must when visiting this unique area.

Great experience!!! We were out all day with our guide Stafford. Stafford was a great guide. He discovered an incredible number of animals and made the tour very informative and funny. He saw the animals before you actually recognized them. That was very nice for us. For lunch he made a very nice picnic. The organization of the tour also worked great. Communication was via WhatsApp and we were picked up directly at the accommodation. We wouldn't have to worry about anything. We were able to fully enjoy the ride. Overall a very nice day. We would do this tour again and again and book it the same way again. Many thanks to Stafford.

This safari is a must! Smooth process, we were picked up from our accommodation and dropped off there again. Fast and uncomplicated communication via WhatsApp. The nature reserve is beautiful! Our guide John was great. We laughed a lot and he told us a lot about the park and the animals. We were always able to ask questions and had enough time to observe the animals and take photos. The picnic was also very nice. We can definitely recommend this safari!

The guide was very pleasant and nice. We saw some animals and it was wonderful. Elephants, families of elephants with their babies. We saw them playing. We also saw zebras and lions and more. The problems were that: 1. it was very hot in the car. The air con was hardly effective. 2. We drove many hours and saw very little. So most of the time was hot and boring. Lunch was very good. But again, it was very hot at the restaurant.
