Excellent tour to the Durro valley. Beautiful stunning scenery. The vineyards we visited were excellent, the guides explained everything in detail and it was very interesting. The best part was the wine and port tasting, surprisingly I loved the Rosé ones which I normally don't like! The olive oil tasting was lovely too. The lunch was very substantial with lots of different dishes accompanied by some nice wines. I met some really nice people and our tour driver and guide was very professional and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone who prefers a smaller group as the mini bus seats only 8 people, it was a comfortable, enjoyable journey in the air conditioned vehicle and we all fell asleep on the way back!

Went into this knowing little about wine and being interested in knowing more about the history of port wine and this region of Portugal. Now I have lots of fun facts about wine making and the river valley thanks to our hosts at the vineyards and our guide, Enrique. Our guide was equally funny and friendly while providing interesting commentary along the drive. Highly recommended.

Overall, the tour was excellent, everything was paced well, and we never felt rushed. Our guide (Sofia) was great too! But the last winery soured the experience a bit, so I lowered it to 4 stars. I have done a lot of tastings in different countries before and never had to reuse the same glass for different wines. We and a lot of other people on the tour were using their bottled water to rinse the glasses out. Given that this was a more established winery with higher price points for their bottles, it was a strange move on their part.
