If you are having second thoughts or reconsidering this trip, don't! Just do it. And if you are lucky, Diogo will be taking you. If not, ask for him. The views were amazing, the trip was adaptable to the energy of the group. Slippery rocks and steep climbs were manageable under the scorching hot weather because our guide, Amazing Diogo made great efforts to assure the safety of everyone and that we were all having a great time. We went off-road to our first location where we kayaked, then we had lunch and trekked to the waterfalls, and lastly, a visit to the village. The only thing... Just wished the time spent at the waterfalls were longer. Everything else was perfect.

We really enjoyed the tour. We would be picked up right in front of the door and Afonso (the guide) really told us a lot about Porto and also the Portuguese culture and nature. He showed us nice spots and gave general recommendations on what else to do here. What I found particularly nice was that they are really committed to rebuilding and preserving native plants. He showed us the plant project. And of course the falls were spectacular.

It was amazing, wow, started off being picked up from our hotel which was great. We had a ride of 1.5 hrs, which was still entertaining thanks to Emanuel was great, charismatic fun and informative. We got there and kayaked and paddle boarded it was so amazing peaceful and fun enjoying stunning views thanks to the know of Emanuel. We followed on to an amazing Portugese Lunch which was delicious and various, they even catered for the dietary options of the whole group some of which were gluten free and vegan. After this we went a but offroading which was fun and drove to this secret water fall swimming spot which was breathtaking. We then were driven back to our hotel in porto. All in all a big credit to this amazing experience was Emanuel he made it fun and memorable for all of us. Such a character, thank you so much Emanuel! Emma and James!
