Brilliant trip by Norberto! He picked us up from our hotel on time and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dropped us off at the start of the Paiva walkway and was there to meet us at the end to take us to a traditional Portuguese restaurant for a lovely lunch. We were then driven to Aveiro for a walk around the town (with a market) and had a nice 45 minute trip on a ‘gondola’ before making our way on to our final stop for the day, Costa Nova, with its brightly painted fishermens cottages.

    A day full of experiences

In the beginning of the walkways there is a long stairway up. Our tour guide Norberto gave us moral support to make it to the top of the stairs. After the stairs it was a nice walk down towards the end of the walkways. If you like nature and beautiful scenery you should take this tour.

We had a perfect day. Norberto had arranged everything wonderfully. Walk was not too hard. The stairs in the beginning so that we had the toughest part in the beginning. In 2020 there will be the largest suspension bridge in the world. Now there is one little one. Afterwards we had a delicious dinner in a cozy restaurant. Boat trip in Aveiro was a bit touristy, but the men on the boat made it a real party. As a conclusion to Costa Nova with one good story from Norberto about the inhabitants of the fishing village. Norberto guided us well throughout the day with great stories. This trip is worth every cent!
