Full description
Explore the 1890 Graham's Port Lodge on a guided tour where you will learn about the history of the cellar, the production process of Port wine, enjoy a premium wine tasting with food pairings, and marvel at spectacular views of Porto and the iconic two-tier bridge. Visit the historic Graham’s Lodge, which was built in 1890 on a commanding ridge in Vila Nova de Gaia across the Douro River from Porto and only a few hundred meters from the river’s south bank. Admire unique and spectacular views of Porto’s historic city center and the iconic two-tier bridge that connects the two cities of Oporto and Gaia. Graham’s is still a working cellar which makes this tour an even more unique experience. Learn about the history of the cellar and the production process of Port wine in a building currently housing over 2,000 pipes (oak casks) and 40 large oak vats of aging Port wine, as well as extensive cellars of Vintage Port. Throughout the tour, enjoy a premium tasting which includes Graham’s LBV paired with chocolate, Graham’s Quinta dos Malvedos paired with cheese, and Graham’s 20 Year Old paired with Pastel de Nata.

The Graham’s Port tasting tour was fantastic! Our tour guide was very friendly, informative and couldn’t do enough for us. The tour is also excellently presented and the building and facilities are very well looked after and luxurious! We opted for the Port tasting paired with cheese, chocolate and a pastel de nata, which we loved too and stayed for another drink on the terrace afterwards with the most incredible views of Porto. For a Port tasting tour from a company with a lot of history who clearly put a lot of care and effort into their product, I highly recommend this tour!

This has to be one of the top picks for a Port cellar tour in Gaia. Go for the food pairings it really is worth tasting different ports with chocolate, cheese and a custard tart. One word of warning, the activity lasts at least 1.5 hours, not 45 minutes as advertised, but worth every 'euro'!

Enjoyed the tasting. Learned about the port making and difference between tawny and vintage. Was able to buy a few bottles and even through I did not have a table reserved they accommodated for lunch. The reset menu was tasty and just the right portion. I went for the fruit salad which was refreshing. Highly recommend for the view from the terrace.
