Discover one of the oldest cities in Europe on a half-day sightseeing tour of Porto, and learn its rich and diverse history, from the 4th century when Romans occupied the Iberian Peninsula, to its modern day renaissance. Start by exploring the "Bairro da Sé," to discover the heart of Porto's roots in the Ribeira. Admire the traditional architecture that earned the city status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996, and wander past historic store fronts and ancient plazas that were built over Roman ruins. After immersing yourself in Porto's history and local culture, visit one of its most famous wine cellars. Great way to get acclimated to the city and see the highlights in a half day afternoon tour. Our tour guide, Jorge, was great at explaining the history and details of all the sites visited. The visit to one of the port wineries and port wine tasting was perfect for us.

This was a very good tour, full of facts about Porto and it's history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us interested all of the time. Definitely the best way to see and learn about Porto. The Port Cellar vist was excellent and the Port was very good. Highly recommended.

Nice tour with a lot of extra information about the town by our guide. The Tour at the Port House was very interesting, but the tasting was a little disapointing since we only got just a zip of 1 red and 1 white port, so not really a tasting. But our tour guide Ricardo was the best!!
