Alohomora! Open the doors of this magical experience for the whole family. Explore the city of Porto through its charming spots that helped inspire the creation of the magical world of Harry Potter. Discover the story behind J.K Rowling and her time at Porto and reveal secret stories with the help of a friendly local. After meeting and admiring the tiles at Sao Bento Metro Station, you will visit the very cafe where the legend of Harry Potter was created. Following this you will peel into the shop where Hogwarts uniforms are sold, before visiting the Lion's Fountain to see the Gryffindor house insignia. You will then visit Lello's magical bookstore, before taking a break and enjoying a Portuguese eclair. Following the break you will hear the story of the Clerigos Tower, before the tour wraps up detailing the stories from the Prison of Azkaban.

I went on this tour with my daughter. My prior knowledge of Harry Potter is limited to the films, but my daughter was there :-). Carlos was a great guide and we had lively conversations. From my point of view, on the tour you get all the relevant information about Harry Potter and his inventor. There was also plenty of information and good tips about what to do around the city

We hired the tour in English because it gave no choice of Spanish. But the guide turned out to be Spanish-speaking. Carlos quickly connected with the children and explained things that they could easily understand. We also went to places a little less touristy but also very interesting. The guide was only for us, 3 children and 2 adults so it could be adapted at a pace for everyone. He gave each one a Harry Potter badge, pictures were taken in disguise as Harry Potter. And we also entered the Lello Bookstore without waiting for a line (August 14 and the line was kilometric).
