Sample two different port wines at this historic venue. Then, go to two typical wine houses in the city. Try a green wine along with a selection of cheeses and smoked meats as a complement to your tastings. Get the chance to try some wines from the Douro Valley wine region at one, served alongside some Portuguese snacks (vegetarian options available). Great wine tour! We knew we wanted to do a tour while in Porto and decided on this option due to its review and price. We were happy with our decision and our guide, Catarina, was amazing!! She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun, and really wanted to get to know everyone on the tour and make it a great experience. We were able to try lots of wine and learn about a variety of different techniques with snacks on the way. There are negative reviews about the hills, but they are not bad at all!! Porto is just a little hilly in it of itself. The only downside was the last stop -- the wine was a little more simple and some cheeses tasted odd. But great great tour and SO happy with Catarina -- highly recommend!!

Pedro was an excellent tour guide and host during our time together. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Porto and the wine we were drinking along the way. The tour has loads of time to chat and get to know others in the group, so I’d highly recommend it for other social travelers wishing to learn more about Portugal’s culture and the modern issues affecting the country.

This was a great tour and definitely value for money. We tried 6 different wines and also walked Porto while visiting different wineries with a tour guide who was born and raised in Porto. Excellent experience and I totally recommend it to anyone who visits Porto.
