The trip was well organised, although I booked 2 tickets and because the minivan was full we weren’t able to sit together. I know that for some people is not a big deal but if you spent almost 5 hours in a car we would prefer to sit together, especially it was my partner’s birthday. The tour guide was excellent, very funny and knowledgeable. Also went beyond my expectations when he asked us for a lunch preference and I don’t like meat or salmon, he made sure that the restaurant prepare something different for me and it was delicious!

  • Porto: Cálem Cellar Tour, Fado Show & Wine Tasting

The visit is followed by a tasting of two port Wines (white and special reserve), which are served to you while you enjoy a Fado performance. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear to the music and experience the soul of the country.

A really great early evening experience. The tour of the lodge was informative and most interesting. This was followed by an excellent 50 minutes of fado music with two musicians and two singers. Whilst we listened to the music we drank two port wines, a white and a tawney. I can recommend this wholeheartedly.

Learn more about their construction and curiosities, and upon arrival at the last bridge, see the Foz do Douro where the river pours into the ocean.

It was really fun, the people were nice and we did not have to wakt long. There are 2 boats and one leaves every half hour. I would suggest taking one at 6 like we did, after the boatride we went for a hike to go up on one of the bridges and saw a beautiful sunset. We also had golden hour etc so we were really happy that we took the boat at 6. The people spoke excellent english! There is also a cable car ride by the boats. I decided to do this because I was exhausted from all the walking. It was Ku first time and I felt very safe. Our guide was very attentive to make sure we all were together. He said facts along the way. This was a good way to get a sneak peak of places I would be interested in visiting.

Nice experience

The bike tour was very relaxing and you could see a lot. You could always drive along the river to get to the beach. Better wear headgear in hot weather. The surf session was great too. There was a good briefing and then we could try surfing for about 1 hour or with the help.

We had Andreia as guide. She was very helpful and the tour was a lot of fun. A good way to visit Porto

Excellent Tour to Porto. Thank you Andrea (our guide). Highly recommended!
