What people are saying about Porto Moniz

Beautiful way to see true west and north west of the island. Roberto was very friendly and kind and kept explaining many view points on the way. The weather in the morning was not on our side unfortunately and it was raining and foggy. However, once we got to Porto Moniz at 12:45 the weather got better and from there on everything looked even better than the first half of the view points. We missed some views like the Encumeada because it was foggy but Roberto took us to two extra stops (and we especially loved Seixal) that were not part of the tour to make up for what we missed in the first half! Was a comfortable 16 seater minivan. Only one thing to point out would be that the lunch stop could have been a bit longer in Porto Moniz for some swimming in the pools as we had only 1h45m. Besides that, loved the tour and enjoyed it! We’ve booked the East coast tour with Lido tours as well and cannot wait for it in a couple of days! Highly recommend them :)

We went on the tour in the middle of the week on a Wednesday and ut was everything I expected it to be. We went all around the island and visited many of the spots we had already planned on visiting on our stay in Madeira. The guide was extremely interactive and made us feel safe and comfortable, translating between Portuguese and English, which made the experience 10 times better for all of us I believe. You see many rock pools, gift shops and breath taking views along the tour including the highest peak in Madeira. It is worth every penny.

Wonderful guide! Very informative and also funny. Made our day tour as enjoyable as it could have been even when we faced a lot of mist on the mountain viewpoint and couldn't see a thing... This tour is really worth every penny if you don't want to rent a car and drive yourself but at the same time want to see as much of the islands' west as possible.

Amazing!! Viewed many places on the trip and view was sensational!! We had a great host called Oberto very funny and friendly.

We managed to see a lot of things, had a great time, amazing nature.
