Continue on your journey via a long sweeping downhill ride that will take you to Duddingston Village, home of the oldest surviving pub in Scotland, The Sheep's Heid Inn, built in 1360. A short ride on the road will take you to the John Muir Way, to Portobello Beach where you shall stop for a refreshment. The return journey takes you on a slightly different route to the Innocent Railway Tunnel built in 1831, the oldest in UK and underneath part of Arthur's Seat.

This is a wonderful break from the busy Edinburgh city. Gorgeous views, wonderfully interesting guide, perfect pace and length. My family of 5 with older kids really enjoyed the experience. The view from Arthur's Seat and dipping our toes in the North Sea were highlights.

Put Edinburgh in context with this fantastic cycle loop around the city on bike paths that take you to unique places, canals, aqueducts, beaches. The guide was great and the cycling was tremendous fun. Highly recommend in any weather!!

Very nice tour to get to know the real Edinburgh. Great enthusiastic guide who takes you into account. So if you are not a good cyclist you can do the tour too. It just takes a little longer. We really appreciated it.

Wonderful way to see Edinburgh. The guides were excellent. We would highly recommend this cycle tour.
