A great time! For the 2 pm option, you can just about cover all four parts of the castle grounds in 2 hours (everything closes at 4 pm), but you will need to be fast. The ticket is valid for two days and covers other activities in Old Town as well. Great value for money, and the audio guide is worth the extra money for the historical and cultural context.

The ticket collection was a bit of a free for all and no queue put in place and so people swarmed the three folks with the tickets. It is actually cheaper to buy at the Castle ticket office but you risk a queue - there was no queue when we went Sunday Jan 8th at 1000.
