Full description
Discover Prague in a day on a combined 6-hour walking and boat tour, with a break for a typical Czech lunch. The tour provides a blend of the best aspects of each of the operator’s individual walks, and builds a complete picture of Prague and its historic highlights. You will start from one of the best known of them all; the Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square. Admire the Church of St. James and medieval customs yard of Ungelt. See the Estates Theatre where Mozart´s Don Giovanni was introduced to the world, and the Charles University, the oldest university in central Europe. Moving from the web of tiny alleys, stroll past important milestones in the Jewish Quarter, exploring the former ghetto of small houses and narrow alleys, where the Old Jewish Cemetery, Old-New Synagogue and Jewish Museum await. Continue to Wenceslas Square in the New Town and explore the site of astonishing uprisings throughout Czech history, including the Velvet Revolution of 1989. Your guide will tell you some of the legendary stories. After a typical Czech lunch, cruise along the Vltava River to see the city from the water, including Prague Castle, Lesser Town, the Church of St. Nicholas and the famous Charles Bridge. Board a tram to ascend the hill to explore Prague Castle up-close. This is the heart of Prague, and your guide will lead you through the courtyards to the Old Royal Palace, Basilica of St. George and Royal Garden for some more panoramic views.

What a comprehensive tour this was! Even with only 6 hours, we packed so much into the day it was great! We walked all over The old and new cities, saw the Jewish Quarter, had an excellent traditional Czech lunch, rode the tram to Prague Castle, saw the Castle grounds as well as the cathedral, then had a lovely boat ride on the Vltava! We learned so much about Prague in a relatively short time. We especially loved the 11am start time as we were able to take our time in the morning without having to rush to an early morning tour start.

Good start tour for the town

I was lucky enough to land in a tour where everyone else canceled due to the weather. Happily the weather turned out well and I had my own personal tour of the town. Thanks to you Dana for being such a great guide and giving me so many tips to help me enjoy my stay in one of the best cities in the world :)

Amazing tour with an amazing guide

Wow. Fantastic tour. Our guide was simply perfect. Very knowledgeable. Extremely funny. She made sure to hit all the right spots. In depth descriptions at every site. She has an understanding of Prague that was incredible. Probably the finest city tour we have ever taken. Highly recommend her for anyone wanting an in depth tour of Prague. The pictures we took together of all of us will be in all of family albums and shown to everyone. Many many thanks for a great your. My mother wanted me to add an extra thank you to her as she really enjoyed spending all day with her. My mother says two thumbs up.
