We enjoyed this trip to Kutna Hora having seen the major sites in Prague in the preceding days. It was very chilled compared to the hustle and bustle of Prague. Our guide (Yana, I think), was very friendly, accommodating and informative. She gave us plenty of info but we didn't feel bombarded or rushed. The bone church was eerie and thought provoking. I'm not sure how the dead would feel about their bones being arranged in such a way. It came across as more of a tourist attraction than a holy place (I know there is a contradiction here but that is the impact of the experience). St Barbara's cathedral and Kutna Hora town centre were a lot more impressive. The food was bog standard but no complaints. Overall, the trip was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it if you want some restbite from the city

The guide on my excursion, Eva (Ava?) was excellent in that she explained everything prior to visiting a site & gave extra interesting tidbits of info. you might not otherwise have heard/known. She was very knowledgeable & knew her history & then some! The sites were interesting & Santa Barbara Church/Cathedral was indeed impressive! The 'Bone Church' was fascinating but a little creepy too! And the traditional Czech lunch was a treat, though I didn't embrace quite everything on my plate...I did love that it was truly authentic.

this is a worthwhile excursion from Prague but we would not do this particular trip again. the lunch wasn't very good and it would have been more fun not to be on such a strict schedule and to have lunch in town. our guide was great, this 1qs just not the best trip to mosey around the town.
