Your local guide will meet either meet you at your hotel or at the tour starting point of St. James Park Underground Station. The walk starts by heading to St James’ Park, built by King Henry VIII and so the oldest Royal Park in London. The park is renowned for its wonderful variety of birds that live in and around the lake. Next up you will visit the first of several Royal Palaces and walk a short distance to St. James’ Palace. This old palace used to be the residence of the monarch until 1837. These days it is occupied by Prince Charles, the Duchess of York and Prince Harry. From here you will walk along Londons primary ceremonial road, The Mall which leads to Buckingham Palace but before you get to the home of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, you will see Clarence House, a home with a lengthy Royal history that for many decades was the residence of the Queen Mother. Douglas was a very competent and welcoming guide who highlighted the features of Kensington Palace. The group was very good fun and we enjoyed a lot of laughter over the excellent High Tea. To be recommended.

Doug was fantastic!! Took his time to educate us as to the history behind what we were seeing, as well as the current day culture (like dogs off leash everywhere!). Tea was over the top.

Great route, excellent knowledgeable Leader (Isaac). Awesome London sights all from the ‘comfort’ of a Fat Tire Bike! :)

Kensington was beautiful, the tea was delicious and our guide Simon was so knowledgeable and entertaining :)

Really great and relaxed bike tour with lots of information. I would book again in a heartbeat :)
