Our guide Maria was great! I was the only English speaker in the group but she made sure to take the time to translate everything for me. I was also given a delicious vegetarian option of cheese, bread, and an olive purée instead of pig for tapas which was great! Overall it was a great experience and 100% worth the money!

  • From Granada: Rio Verde Canyoning Tour

    8. From Granada: Rio Verde Canyoning Tour

Depart Granada and journey by air-conditioned bus to the beautiful Rio Verde canyon in the Sierra de Almijara. Take part in a thrilling canyoning activity suitable for all ages. Get a safety briefing on arrival and collect the necessary gear to work your way through the canyon with the help of an experienced guide. Rappel from rocks up to 15 meters high and get an adrenaline rush as you take optional jumps from rocks and slide across the river bed. Cool down with a swim in the emerald green water and appreciate the natural beauty of your surroundings from a fresh perspective. Reach the end point after approximately 3.5 hours and enjoy a well-earned rest and snacks before the drive back to Granada.

We stayed in Spain for two weeks and this was honestly the best day of our vacation! Pedro, the guide, was absolutely fantastic. He was so considerate and patient, which made one feel super safe but still there was lots of adventurous stuff to do. Yet there were always options for people who didn’t want to cliff jump or slide down the rocks, so you didn’t have to quit the whole tour if you didn’t want to do an activity. Pedro always encouraged everyone to try the activities but was never pushy. The canyon itself is also astoundingly beautiful. Very recommendable!

  • Granada: High Sierra Nevada Hiking Experience

    9. Granada: High Sierra Nevada Hiking Experience

After being collected from your accommodation in Granada, you will be driven to 2,500 meters above sea level to the top of the Sierra Nevada Road. From here you will head to the most beautiful glacier valley of Sierra Nevada, San Juan Valley. Here you will learn how the ice has been excavating the rocks throughout thousand of years. You will also encounter beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and shiny rocks, as well as wildlife such as mountain goats, eagles, birds migrating from Africa, and insects and plants that only exist here. This is an easy but beautiful hike, off the beaten path. Your guides know the best secret spots in Sierra Nevada after more than 30 years hiking here. Your tour will eventually conclude in a beautiful panoramic restaurant, where you will enjoy a refreshing drink.

We really enjoyed our trip and would really recommend it to anyone considering it. The guide knew the area very well and we felt safe with him. We got to see mountain goats and cows on the way up to the peak as well as plants and insects not found elsewhere. You need reasonable fitness for this trip and no fear of heights as you'll be going high. The views are great though and it was strange seeing and touching snow in Spain, and in July too!

Espectacular!

Very good guided tour. The tour lasted 3 and a half hours. We were able to ask all the questions we wanted, we went to every corner. It was very comfortable to have a radio with a headset to be able to listen to the guide when there were many people. I recommend it!

We loved our visit with Borjas! Exciting and humorous, really interesting information! We didn't see the three hours go by and of course the Alhambra is a magical place, living up to its reputation!

The guide was up to the monuments of the Alhambra, that is to say breathtaking. Very bright, caring for each of us. Everything was fine. Even a small cool stop halfway through which was welcome.

Great experience, thank you Paul for the fun and interesting stories! :)
