Everything we could have wanted from such a tour! Amazing experience; highly recommended. We started off on a walk through the jungle, among ancient ruins, followed by a delicious lunch and boat ride through the mangroves. Finally, a swim down the lazy river was the icing on the cake. The guide was fantastic and highly knowledgeable - and despite wildlife not being guaranteed for obvious reasons, his enthusiasm, passion for nature, and skill in spotting and pointing out animals meant we saw howler monkeys, coati, many birds and more. The mangroves tour by boat was amazing too.

We went on this tour with Cesar, whose personal enthusiasm and knowledge of history, culture, and nature, was inspiring. We went on a tour in the jungle - learned about the hidden ruins and the environment, and then got on a boat to go float down a lagoon! It was the very best experience, especially as we did not really know what to expect. Cesar kept us amused, informed, and fed with food is family had made (what a wonderful touch)!

We loved this tour! Lea did a great job going over the history of Sian Ka’annand guiding us through the tour. She was knowledgeable and great to converse with. The lunch in between the jungle tour and mangrove tour was delicious! Highly recommend!

Marcos, the guide, did an excellent job. Very personable and willing to listen. He offered some very informative background. Marcos kept everything moving in a very comfortable pace.

It was a great experience. We loved it : the walk in the reserve and the swim through the mangrove in the lagoon was amazing. Our guide Santiago was the best!
