Full description
Prepare for an exhilarating adventure in Jacques-Cartier National Park on a mountain bike with oversized (fat) tires. Leave the transportation to the experts and benefit from a round-trip transfer from downtown Quebec City. Admire the landscape and nature of the surrounding mountains as you bike the trails.
Board the bus and enjoy the scenery on the 30-minute drive to the park. Arriving around 10:00 AM at Jacques-Cartier National Park, receive all your equipment and your guide will explain easy-to-follow techniques. The route begins on the vast plateaus of the park. Cruise down old forest paths into a coniferous forest. The trail then follows a river and crosses the territory of moose and black bears.
Halfway through the tour, take a break by the river to enjoy lunch. At the end of the route, around 3:00 PM, savor a cold beer from a local microbrewery — a perfect reward for completing this great activity. At 4:00 PM, you'll depart the park for the return trip to Quebec City. You can anticipate being back in Quebec City by around 5:00 PM.
