Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Montmorency Falls with this ticket to Parc de la Chute-Montmorency and a round trip cable car ride to the top of the falls. Take advantage of free parking at the cable car station in Beauport.  Begin your visit at the cable car station and take the opportunity to discover the new trails at the foot of the falls. After your walk, take the cable car ride up to the top. You will see dazzling views of the falls, park cove, and Île d’Orléans. Once at the top, learn more about the history of the park at the interpretation center located in the Manoir Montmorency. You will also find a souvenir shop there. Continue to the suspension bridge hanging directly over the falls and listen to the water roaring beneath your feet. There are also a number of trails where you can enjoy the fresh air, peace and quiet, and beauty of the park.  The large-format maps on the park will guide you in discovering the panoramic circuit. You can stop to observe the different viewpoints available, or have a picnic. For the more adventurous, opt to go down the panoramic staircase. Clinging to the side of the cliff, this impressive staircase has no less than 487 steps. You will have ample opportunity to take well-deserved breaks during your descent. At the bottom of the stairs, feel the full power of the falls as you get splashed by the water. In winter, the fine splashes projected by the waterfall eventually freeze and form beautiful shapes. These splashes also form the famous Sugarloaf which is a very impressive natural ice cream cone at the foot of the falls. Finally, walk along the new contemplative walkway.

On your day tour of Grosse Île you’ll meet period figures who will tell you about the daily lives of the immigrants and employees that resided in this quarantine station. Experience what the immigrants must have felt when they entered the disinfection building, and learn about medicine and immigration procedures here during the 19th and 20th centuries. You can choose to walk or hop on the tourist trolley to visit the central part of the island and the village where the quarantine station employees lived. Continue on to the hospital sector at the easternmost point of the island to visit the Lazaretto.
