Full description

Travel to the Gibbston region, only a half an hour drive from central Queenstown, to visit four of Central Otago’s finest cellars and spend time tasting wines. Travel in style with door-to-door transfers, complimentary WiFi and bottled water on-board. Throughout the day, sample at least 18 spectacular cool climate wines. Enjoy an optional scrumptious lunch, which can be purchased on the day. Visit a range of well-known and off-the-beaten-track wineries, including New Zealand’s famous underground wine cave at Gibbston Valley. Meet passionate local characters and get to taste the very best wines from the area. Throughout the day, sample at least 18 spectacular, cool climate wines and a selection of local cheeses if time allows.

Highly recommend this tour and wanted to share our thanks to the wonderful Alia from AustrALIA - she was amazing! Bubbly, knowledgeable, personable, professional and couldn't have delivered a better experience! We were lucky to be part of a very small group, which made for an intimate experience. The van was lovely, with leather seats and flat screen TV with some fun and educational tour advice from the operators during the commute. The vineyards that we visited were a great mix of styles, and we even had a special stop on the way back for coffee and cake (my partner had a craving for sugar).

They picked us right outside our hotel which was perfect and the host Megan was absolutely amazing. She was very accommodating and knowledgable. She was really friendly and made the day a whole lot more fun. We had to be back in town by a deadline and she made it possible and a super easy going day.

It was my partners and I first wine tour and we absolutely loved it. We enjoyed Kinross, cellar doors the best and thought the Frenchman was great. Really enjoyed Trish at Mt Rosa but not the wine as much and lastly loved trying 2019 Devil Staircase from Rockburn. We both have a new appreciation for white wine, particularly Pinot Gris and Riesling.
